India and Pakistan are top two cricketing nations in Asia. The Indian Premier League (IPL) and the Pakistan Super League (PSL) are the two T20 leagues played in these two nations, with PSL 2021 and IPL 2021 being the seasons of this year. Interestingly, players from Pakistan don't play in the IPL, while no Indian cricketer participates in the PSL.

However, the foreign cricketers are eligible to play in both leagues. Almost every foreign player is available for the IPL as there are very few international matches happening at that time, whereas some foreign stars skip PSL matches for international duty. Nevertheless, one cannot deny that some big names joined the PSL in 2021.

Here's a look at those ten star players who featured in PSL 2021 and will play in IPL 2021.

10. Faf du Plessis

Faf du Plessis is the cornerstone of the overseas department of the Chennai Super Kings team in IPL. The South African star was CSK's leading run-getter in the previous IPL season.

The former South African skipper was a partial replacement for Chris Gayle at the Quetta Gladiators in PSL 2021. He was available when Gayle went to play for the West Indies team.

Chris Gayle was a member of the Sarfaraz Ahmed-led Quetta Gladiators team in PSL 2021. The Universe Boss lit up PSL this year with his exploits with the bat.

Gayle will play under another wicketkeeper in IPL 2021, as he will turn up for the Punjab Kings. KL Rahul will captain Gayle during the IPL this year.

Afghan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi has become a T20 specialist. The former Afghanistan cricket team captain is present in almost every top cricket league of the world.

Nabi was a member of the Karachi Kings squad in PSL 2021. In the upcoming IPL season, the spin-bowling all-rounder will don the Sunrisers Hyderabad jersey.

7. Daniel Christian

Another member of the Karachi Kings squad who will play in IPL 2021 is the Australian all-rounder Daniel Christian. The Aussie plied his trade for the Karachi-based franchise in PSL 2021.

After there was a COVID outbreak in the PSL bio-bubble, Christian rushed back to his home. Soon, he will join the Royal Challengers Bangalore team for the upcoming IPL season.

6. Rashid Khan is the only Lahore Qalandars player of PSL 2021 to play in IPL 2021

Rashid Khan represented the Lahore Qalandars in the most recent PSL competition. The leg-spinner got injured midway and was replaced by Sandeep Lamichhane.

Khan has recovered from his injury and played a few matches for Afghanistan recently. He will play for the Sunrisers Hyderabad this year along with Mohammad Nabi.

South African leg-spinner Imran Tahir was a member of the Multan Sultans team in the Pakistan Super League. He is famous for his enthusiasm.

Chris Lynn is one of the most destructive openers in T20 cricket. The right-handed batsman earned a deal from Multan Sultans for the recent PSL season.

Lynn had won the previous IPL season with the Mumbai Indians team. The Mumbai-based franchise have retained him for the upcoming IPL season.

3. David Miller

David Miller was in quarantine when PSL 2021 got postponed. He had just reached Pakistan to play for the Peshawar Zalmi team in the tournament.

However, soon the tournament got postponed. Miller will now look forward to playing for the Rajasthan Royals team in the approaching IPL tournament.

2. Mujeeb ur Rahman

Mujeeb ur Rahman is another Afghan spin bowler who has become a regular fixture in the T20 leagues. Rahman plied his trade for Peshawar Zalmi in PSL.

Rahman will now head to India to play his first season for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. So far, Mujeeb had only played for Punjab in the IPL.

1. Ben Cutting

Australian all-rounder Ben Cutting will return to the IPL after a brief period away from the league. The Kolkata Knight Riders have signed him for the upcoming IPL tourney.

Cutting had won the Man of the Match award in the IPL 2016 Final match. He was playing for the Quetta Gladiators team in the 2021 edition of the PSL.
