The Indian Premier League and the Caribbean Premier League feature some top-quality franchises who entertain the fans with their brilliant cricket on the field. Many CPL stars have made a name for themselves in the IPL with their good performances.
There are some common team owners in the two leagues. The Knight Riders represent Kolkata in the Indian Premier League and they represent Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean Premier League.
