WWE was possibly going to fire popular SmackDown Superstar!

However, the recent signings of AEW have shocked the whole world. They have now gained the services of Matt Hardy, Dash Wilder, Scott Dawson, and also Brodie Lee. Now, talking about AEW, they would be happy to learn that WWE wished to fire a SmackDown Superstar a few months ago.
This SmackDown Superstar is a Grand Slam Champion, and he has millions of fans. Yes, he is none other than Jeff Hardy.
As per Mike Johnson of PWIInsider Elite Audio told that WWE had instructed Jeff Hardy to change his lifestyle. Even though they took a real-life angle of his bad habits on SmackDown, here’s what the company intended to do as per reports:
“Jeff Hardy’s deal is that it’s frozen cause he’s hurt. So, they’ve tacked time on so why would they fire him when they can hold him even longer? I can tell you from a source very close to the situation that WWE strongly implored Jeff to address his health and we’re told that Jeff is doing that and really aggressively dove right into it. So, you can’t fire the guy when he’s doing what you ask him to do. We’ll see what happens when he goes to court.”
Also, Dave Meltzer stated that WWE may not fire Jeff Hardy so soon because The Hardyz can reunite in AEW. Thus, Jeff is here to STAY!
